Visiting exhibition booths, Prime Minister Chinh highly praised the innovative atmosphere, the determination and the strong engagement of the entire banking sector, especially commercial banks, in placing people and businesses at the center and as the subjects of digital transformation. Well-invested technology booths showcased significant progress in digitalization, infrastructure, services and customer experiences.
Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister said that digital transformation aims to facilitate smoother connections and transactions between commercial banks with the public, businesses and the government. This has empowered rapid and sustainable national development; supported the growth of the digital economy, digital government, digital society and digital citizenship; and helped stabilize the macroeconomy, control inflation and ensure major economic balances by slashing banking costs and reducing expenses for citizens and businesses. Digital transformation has also helped reduce time, costs and inconveniences while preventing corruption and negative practices through minimized direct human interaction.
He emphasized that digital banking transformation must stay aligned with the Party's direction, be implemented decisively, and focus on enhancing efficiency. Banks must seize opportunities, stay ahead of technological trends and drive development. Banks must lead in technology and innovation, offer diverse products and professional services with robust security. Particularly, they must stay close to the people and the market, serve the interests of citizens, and support business development.
Earlier, Prime Minister Chinh welcomed President of Hungary Sulyok Tamas and his high-ranking escorts to tour the exhibition space at the 2025 Banking Digital Transformation Day during his official visit to Vietnam. At the event, the HDBank booth continued to draw the attention of visitors and provided interactive experiences. The bank welcomed Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, President Sulyok Tamas, leaders of SBV and other high-level officials, introducing its key digital financial solutions.
| In addition to showcasing its products, HDBank brought the spirit of innovation, humanity and sustainability as a modern bank to this year’s Banking Digital Transformation Day. This is part of its strategy to assist the Government and the SBV in implementing major policies such as the Politburo’s Resolution 57-NQ/TW and SBV’s Decision 810 on banking digital transformation. |
