GM Vietnam 2025: Kicks off New Digital Asset Era

GM Vietnam 2025 - Asia's leading blockchain, digital assets and investment technology event officially took place on the morning of August 1 at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, the event was jointly organized by SSI Digital and Kyros Ventures, under the auspices of the National Cyber Security Association.

The event took place in the context of Vietnam entering a period of strong development of the digital economy: the national blockchain strategy has been issued, the Law on Digital Technology Industry has just been passed, and international capital is pouring in strongly. With the vision of becoming a pioneer country in digital assets in Asia, the Government is strongly promoting to make blockchain an essential digital infrastructure.

An unprecedented gathering

GM Vietnam 2025 attracted more than 20,000 attendees with more than 200 domestic and international speakers from Korea, Singapore, UAE, USA, Hong Kong... and more than 1,000 founders, investment funds, angel investors, developers and advisors. This is a gathering place for technology companies, blockchain startups, individual investors, banks and management agencies, to discuss the future of digital assets.

The opening speech was attended by many senior leaders such as: Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Member of the Central Steering Committee on Digital Transformation, Mr. Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Chinh, former Director of Department A05... and representatives of ministries, departments and domestic and foreign media agencies.

The event had the participation of big names in the financial technology industry: Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SSI; Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation; Mr. Thuat Nguyen, CEO of Kyros Ventures; Ms. Quynh Le, APAC Development Director of Tether; Ms. Virginie Barbot, Southeast Asia Regional Director of Nasdaq Technology; Nguyen Nam Long, 13-year-old CTO of OplaCRM.

The event's content focuses on hot topics such as: Legal framework and sandbox for digital assets, system security, investment map, and fundraising strategy for startups. The discussion sessions are designed in-depth, helping participants not only access knowledge but also have the opportunity to connect in practice.

Bridging technology and users

GM Vietnam 2025 is not only a place to share knowledge but also has high applicability. The event has more than 40 exhibition booths, introducing blockchain solutions in finance, retail, data, entertainment, healthcare, etc. Attendees can directly experience and interact with products and development teams.

Side activities such as Aptos Hackathon, the largest blockchain programming competition in Vietnam, or Treasure Hunt, a technology discovery game, have turned the event into a space for learning, discovery and entertainment for the masses.
