Pfizer Vietnam and the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City Hospital (UMC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch a three-year strategic collaboration, marking a significant milestone in advancing medical capabilities.
The MoU aims to build a strong foundation of medical capability, enhance the quality of diagnosis, prevention, and treatment for healthcare professionals through specialized training programs, and extend engagement with expert networks to meet the practical needs of hospitals in the southern provinces and across the region.

The collaboration between Pfizer Vietnam and the UMC focuses on four key areas: support organizing specialized training in antibiotics, antifungals, vaccines, cardiovascular and cancer; strengthen infectious disease prevention and treatment capabilities; share medical knowledge; and enhance public awareness of common preventable infectious diseases and chronic conditions such as cardiovascular diseases and cancer.
