At the FIATA World Congress 2025, Saigon Newport Corporation presents the story of its journey of transformation, innovation, and partnership expansion to join the global logistics community in pursuing low emissions, smart operations, and sustainable development.

Digitalized port-logistics ecosystem for integrated solutions

With a network of more than 28 subsidiaries and member units across the country, Saigon Newport Corporation has built a closed logistics ecosystem integrating seaport operations (including feeder and deep-water ports), multimodal transportation, over 1 million square meters of warehouses, inland container depots (ICDs)/depots nationwide, and value-added logistics services, together with supply chain management technology solutions.

A key highlight of Saigon Newport Corporation’s development strategy is the strong application of digital transformation in management and operations. Platforms such as ePort, eDO, and eBooking enable customers to carry out procedures online 24/7, significantly reducing time, costs, and vehicle emissions. Smart port management systems (TOPX, TOPOVN), smart gates (Autogate), vehicle GPS tracking (OTM), and container management and big data solutions are being synchronously implemented, moving toward a smart port and digital ecosystem.

Thanks to the combination of modern port infrastructure and digital technology, Saigon Newport Corporation provides end-to-end logistics solutions, meeting the diverse needs of domestic and international customers. This also forms an important foundation for Saigon Newport Corporation to realize its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and contributing to building a greener global supply chain.

Expanding partnerships - new solutions and practices in direct cargo handling

Alongside improving service quality, Saigon Newport Corporation focuses on expanding strategic partnerships to enhance resources and provide solutions for the logistics community.

A notable highlight is its collaboration with Phuoc An Port (Dong Nai Province) - the largest and most modern seaport in Dong Nai, planned to become an important import-export and logistics hub in southern Vietnam’s key economic region. This cooperation brings outstanding advantages in connecting goods from inland areas to international markets while promoting green logistics by shortening transport routes and reducing emissions.

In addition, Saigon Newport Corporation strengthens cooperation with the Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC), which owns an extensive network of maritime transport, seaports, and logistics services. The collaboration between these two “locomotives” of the port and logistics industry opens opportunities to provide large-scale integrated services, enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods in international markets, and promote green transformation in operations.

Through these partnerships, Saigon Newport Corporation not only expands its service capacity but also helps connect Vietnam’s logistics community with global trade networks, creating added value for businesses and the national economy.

Development orientation on five pillars - driving force for sustainable growth

Entering a new phase, Saigon Newport Corporation has defined its development strategy around five pillars: Port operations, focusing on improving capacity and operational quality at major ports such as Tan Cang–Cat Lai, the Cai Mep–Thi Vai deep-water port cluster, and the Lach Huyen deep-water port in Hai Phong, moving toward green and smart port models; Logistics services, expanding integrated offerings through technology application and optimized solutions for transport, warehousing, and distribution; Transportation and the marine economy, strengthening the fleet and multimodal transport while effectively harnessing marine and island potential; Investment and business in industrial parks and free trade zones, developing infrastructure to support supply chains, attract investors, and stimulate regional growth; Marine tourism services and renewable energy development, pursuing long-term goals that combine economic growth with environmental protection, sustainable marine resource use, and clean energy promotion.

With these five pillars, Saigon Newport Corporation aims not only to maintain its leading position in Vietnam but also to become a top regional logistics brand, making an active contribution to global emission reduction and sustainable development goals.
