Chairman of Tan Cang Lach Huyen JSC Nguyen Dinh Tri delivers remarks at the event
Tan Cang Lach Huyen was established through cooperation between Tan Cang Offshore Services JSC., under Corps 20 – Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP), and Lach Huyen International Logistics & Industrial Park - DeepWater Port JSC., a member of Xuan Cau Holdings. Both are highly reputable enterprises with strong capabilities in seaport operations, logistics, and industrial infrastructure development.
Within Northern Vietnam’s economic structure, Hai Phong serves as a strategic maritime gateway, playing a critical role in the country’s marine economic development.
In recent years, the city has consistently identified the development of modern seaport and logistics services as a key priority to create new growth drivers and enhance regional competitiveness. Located within the Lach Huyen Free Trade Zone, Logistics and Industrial Park, the Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center is positioned as a critical logistics hub supporting the seaport system, industrial parks, and import-export activities of Hai Phong City and the Northern Key Economic Region.

Overview of the inauguration ceremony of the Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center
Tan Cang Lach Huyen pioneers the provision of an integrated and comprehensive logistics service chain, including container depot operations such as lifting, storage, cleaning, and repair services; a system of bonded warehouses, CFS warehouses, and domestic warehouses designed to meet demand for cargo storage, consolidation, and transshipment, together with value-added logistics solutions. These services contribute to enhancing cargo handling capacity and help complete a modern logistics ecosystem for the Lach Huyen deep-water port cluster.
The Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center is being developed on a total area of 40 hectares. Phase 1 covers 12.4 hectares and includes a container yard with a storage capacity of 8,000 TEUs, operated by four modern electric RTG cranes, including two newly manufactured by Tan Cang Gantry JSC. In addition, the project features a warehouse system totaling nearly 30,000 square meters. Warehouse No. 1 has an area of 16,200 square meters, while Warehouse No. 2, with a planned area of 8,000 square meters, is expected to be commissioned between 2026 and 2027.
The warehouse system comprises CFS warehouses, bonded warehouses, general cargo warehouses, and value-added supply chain services. The project is also positioned as the first green logistics model in Lach Huyen, gradually applying international standards in operations, supply chain security, and environmental protection, with the goal of achieving LEED and C-TPAT certifications. This orientation is expected to strengthen competitive advantages in international trade while aligning with global sustainable logistics trends.
Strategically located directly behind the Lach Huyen deep-water port cluster, the Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center offers rapid connectivity to the international seaport system, expressway networks, and key industrial zones across the region.
Notably, its proximity to the planned Vietnam-China railway connection corridor is expected to position the Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center as a strategic node within the cross-border logistics network, enhancing transshipment capacity and trade connectivity while reinforcing its role as the logistics backbone supporting the Lach Huyen deep-water port cluster. The project also reflects the long-term vision and commitment of its investors to placing customers at the center of development and supporting the business community through a transparent, efficient, and highly connected operating environment.
Building on the strong momentum of regional trade and logistics development, the Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center is expected to become a key transshipment hub where cargo moves more efficiently, supply chains are further optimized, and green development goals are progressively realized, contributing to the growth of Hai Phong City and strengthening Vietnam’s position in the global logistics landscape.
