The Belgian Cultural and Culinary Festival B.Fest 2026 will take place in Quang Ninh in early October, opening up a space for Vietnam-Belgium cultural exchange in the heart of Ha Long, where distinctive natural and cultural heritage values converge.

After five editions, the Belgian Cultural and Culinary Festival B.Fest continues its journey to a new destination. In 2026, the festival will officially come to Quang Ninh, taking place over two days, October 2–3, 2026, at October 30 Square, Ha Long Ward, Quang Ninh City. The event is organized by the Embassy of Belgium in Vietnam and the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BeluxCham), in collaboration with DEEP C Industrial Zones Complex, with the support of Hateco Group.

With the theme “Heritage within Heritage,” B.Fest 2026 aims to create a space where Belgian culture meets the beauty of Ha Long.

From Belgian Culture to the Heritage Land of Ha Long

The distinctive feature of B.Fest 2026 lies in the intersection between two realms of values recognized by UNESCO: on one side is Belgium, with its rich cultural identity, intangible cultural heritage, and culinary traditions preserved across generations; on the other is Quang Ninh, home to Ha Long Bay - a World Natural Heritage Site and an icon of Vietnam’s majestic beauty.

Coming to Quang Ninh for the first time, B.Fest brings the spirit of an international cultural festival into the setting of Ha Long, a coastal city, creating a special meeting point between values shaped by people and beauty created by nature.

From Enjoyment to Interaction: A Journey to Touch the Emotions

Music continues to be one of the highlights of B.Fest 2026. This year’s stage will feature Vietnamese artists as well as a DJ from Belgium, creating connections between different musical colors.

In addition to the main stage, B.Fest 2026 introduces Passport Journey - a journey to explore various activities at the festival. Upon entering, attendees will receive a Passport from the organizers and visit different areas to play interactive games, explore culinary offerings, participate in creative workshops, and more. Each stop will be marked with a stamp, and after completing the required number of stages, participants may redeem gifts from the program.

In particular, The Iconic Ship - an iconic boat inspired by Ha Long’s red-sailed boats - will make its first appearance at B.Fest. It is not only a “hot” check-in spot but also a space for interactive games and bartender performances, bringing exciting experiences to attendees.

B.Fest 2026 and the Story of Belgian Beer Culture

This year, the spirit continues to be expressed through the “Belgian Beer Flavor Mascots” collection, inspired by distinctive Belgian beer flavors and beer-drinking preferences. The collection comprises six characters, along with one special character, each created as a representative with its own distinctive character.

Turning Belgian beer flavors into characters through collecting and experiential activities helps tell the cultural story in a way that is more accessible to younger audiences, while also creating another point of connection between Belgian culture and the language of modern entertainment.

B.Fest 2026 will take place on October 2–3 at October 30 Square, Ha Long Ward, Quang Ninh. See details here.
