Indochina Capital Sets up Real Estate and Securities Fund
The Hong Kong-based real estate and financial service group Indochina Capital has recently announced plans to set up two new investment funds to mobilise capital for the Vietnamese market: the Real Estate Fund (capital size: US$150-200 million) and Securities Fund (capital size: US$70-100 million).
According to Indochina Capital’s statistics, after 15 years operating in Vietnam, this group has mobilised and invested nearly US$1 billion in 16 projects of different fields, including US$42 million Indochina Land Real Estate Investment Fund. Besides, Indochina Capital has invested more than US$50 million in the stock market and is holding 30 per cent stakes in Mekong Securities Company.
Under the plan, Indochina Capital will launch a second real estate fund in several months to come and the securities investment fund by the end of this year.
