Autopetro 2006 with New Opportunities for Enterprises

An international vehicle and fuel exhibition (Autopetro 2006) will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from August 3-6, 2006, by the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Transport, the Vietnam Society of Automotive Engineers (VSAE), the Hanoi Advertising and International Fair Company (HADIFA) and two foreign partners CP Exhibition and Chan Chao International Company.

 

Dr. Nguyen Xuan Chuan, former deputy minister of industry and chairman of VSAE, stressed that the event would offer lawmakers, vehicle and fuel enterprises to get access to the latest technology and promote their co-operation to find effective measures for the industry’s development.

 

Autopetro with the participation of many famous enterprises in Vietnam and foreign countries proves an optimistic growth of the local vehicle and fuel industry, as well as the Vietnamese economy, said Tim Tucker, general director of Ford Vietnam.

Up to date, 130 enterprises have registered to join the event. The number of foreign enterprises registered to join Autopetro 2006 increased by 43 per cent against 2005.
