VCBF to Set up Vietcombank Fund 2

Vietcombank Securities Investment Fund Joint Venture (VCBF) will establish Vietcombank Fund 2 capitalised at US$60 million (equivalent of VND1,000 billion) with the approval of State Securities Committee.

It will be the fund with biggest capital in Vietnam. Like Vietcombank 1, Vietcombank 2 will attract investments from local and foreign investors focusing on non-listing enterprises in such sectors as oil and gas, banking and insurance, information and telecommunication, Vietcombank 1 (capital of VND200 billion) has been disbursed 70 per cent of mobilised capital.
