"Community Day Activities" - Business Culture of Citigroup

After the APEC 2006 attendance, over 100 Citigroup senior executives and Citigroup Vietnam employees volunteered to take part in the “Community Day Activities” at the Youth Vocational Training Centre in Hanoi.

 

“The Community Day is a day when Citigroup staff worldwide volunteer to do work in the community. We have honourable presence to help students here improve their living conditions for a safer and more convenient learning and living environment,” said Charly Mandan, director of Citigroup Vietnam.

 

Citigroup sponsored the Vocational Training Centre since 2004 with a total sponsorship worth VND700 million (US$43,700). Besides, Citigroup also helped these students with job interviewing and English language skills.
