Online Recruitment Keeps Soaring

The latest statistics by the leading online recruitment website VietnamWorks, the labour demand in the third quarter of 2006 kept stable but the supply suddenly soared. This presented a consecutive growth of the online labour market in Vietnam, possibly an increase of 35 per cent in 2006 against 2005. The top recruitment belonged to business, interpretation, tourism, hotel, import-export, banking and investment fields. Notably, the labour supply in the third quarter rose 110 per cent compared with that in the second quarter, the record high to date. Most candidates applied for white-collar, secretary, accountant, financial, salesman, banking, investment and management positions.
