Cooperation deals signed between HCMC & Japan

On the occasion of the Asia Metropolis Summit in Osaka, Japan from Oct 24 to Oct 26, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan leads the senior official delegation together with enterprises delegation to take part in trade and investment promotion activities in Japan from October 21 to October 28 in Osaka, Yokohama and Hyogo. This is a good chance for Vietnamese businesses to learn about the culture of each city and boost trade and investment promotion activities with Japanese enterprises.

 

Ho Chi Minh City will clinch a memorandum of understanding on economic cooperation with Yokohama City on Oct 23 and an agreement to set up cooperation and ties with Osaka Province on Oct 25.

Under the memorandum of understanding with Yokohama, the two sides will support and facilitate cooperation and exchange among businesses of the two cities, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. Ho Chi Minh City and Yokohama will also promote trade, investment and the exchange in economic and commercial information.

 

Under the agreement with Osaka Province, the two sides will boost cooperation and ties to improve mutual understanding between the two localities, and promote exchange and cooperation in sectors the two cities are interested in such as economy, culture, tourism and environment.
