Vietnam Trade, Investment Promotion Center Debuts in Germany
The Vietnamese center (Viethaus AG) for promoting trade, investment, culture and tourism activities in Germany was inaugurated in Berlin March 5, the Investment newspaper reported.
The establishment, part of the Vietnam Culture Week's activities in this city, is expected to act as an economic-trade bridge between Vietnamese and German entrepreneur.
The EUR5-million center, which covers an area of 4,500 square meters in the heart of Berlin, will promote the country's images, its people, culture and tourism to Germans and international visitors to Berlin.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Tran Duc Mau, Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany affirmed that the establishment of Viethaus is significant to the 100,000-strong Vietnamese community in the country.
Viethaus AG is the first Vietnamese joint venture between Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO) and Germany's HMSKY Company in the European country. (Investment, VNA)
