Korean Firm Opens High-quality Yarn Plant in Vietnam
South Korea’s Hyosung Group has commissioned the hi-end yarn plant Spandex VN in southern Dong Nai province, the Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reported on June 6.
The factory, covering 41 hectares at the Nhon Trach 5 Industrial Park, has total investment of US$300 million to 2009.
The facility specializes in making high-grade Spandex yarn with a capacity of 15,000 tons a year.
The plant will provide 40De yarn and 70De yarn in mid-June along with the current 20De yarn to the domestic apparel sector and the Southeast Asian market. (Youth)
