ADB, S.Korea to Fund to Build US$328 Mln Vietnam-Thailand-Cambodia Road
The Asian Development Bank and the South Korean government will co-fund construction of a trans-Indochina road linking Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam which will cost US$328 million in total.
The government of Vietnam will start to build 220 kilometers of roads, part of the project in early 2009 and complete it in 2014. The government will also use grants from the Australian government and contribute reciprocal capital.
The 220 kilometer road section will run through the southern provinces of Kien Giang and Ca Mau, the paper added. (Capital Security)
