Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company (PHURUCO) released its report on exploitation productivity of more than 15,000 tonnes cultivated on nearly 13,000 hectares by the third quarter of 2008 and its first nine months’ revenue of more than VND944 billion, up 28.42 percent over the last same period.
These satisfactory results would enable to achieve or over-fulfill the target of 24.500 tonnes in 2008 in terms of both volume and revenue, said Mr Nguyen Van Tan, General Director of PHURUCO.
Behind PHURUCO’s success is a great effort made by the whole staff of the company, which plays an important role in improving the quality of the company’s products. With the view to encouraging the staff’s dedicated spirit towards working, PHURUCO has paid special attention to allowances policies for employees. Under the current regime, PHURUCO’s employees are enjoying the monthly salary of more than VND5 million per capita in average. In the third quarter of this year, the Company registered for taking part in the emulation movement titled “for Vietnam agriculture of a high-quality, food-safety and hygiene” launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. In addition, the Company organised a Emulation and Rewards Conference for teams and individuals who made good achievements in the first half of the year with the total reward valued at more than VND75 million.
So far, PHURUCO’s products have entered the markets of more than 30 countries worldwide including Korea, Germany, Japan and Singapore, etc… PHURUCO’s VND600 billion export value in 2008 has partly assured its competitiveness in the world market.
PHURUCO is now striving to fulfill the targets set for this year in line with diversifying its business operations. This diversification is proved by the positive involvement of PHURUCO into a great number of infrastructure projects including Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Zone project capitalised at VND270 billion; BOT highway DT 741 project, Phuoc Hoa KDC project, Cambodia rubber project, Con River hydro-power plant – the first phase, Son La Rubber project and some others. In addition, PHURUCO has its Hoa Binh Industrial Zone project in Phu Giao in the 2010 – 2015 period submitted by Binh Duong People’s Committee to the Government for approval.
