HAPACO Promotes to Set up Joint Venture in Belarus
Hapaco Joint Stock Company (Hapaco), which is being listed in Vietnam’s main exchange, will join hands with several Belarusian enterprises to open a joint venture in Belarus.
The joint venture will have a registered capital of US$5 million, to which Hapaco will contribute US$3 million. The firm is expected to make its debut in early 2009.
The venture will involve in trade, services, import and export. It plans to export leather shoes, garments and seafood and import automobiles, liquor, fertilizer, and consumer goods to Belarus.
Hapaco has worked with Belarusian ambassador and mayors to speed up necessary procedures to invest in the country. (Investment, VNA)
