Italian Industry & Technology Expo to Open in HCMC Jan 11

An exhibition on Italian industry and technology will take place January 11-14 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam News Agency said, quoting the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).

 

The event is followed by a Vietnam visit by a mission of 160 Italian businesses which was led by Economic Minister of Italy Claudio Scajola in November 2008.

 

The MoIT said that the visit by the Italian Minister has created a big repercussion in the Italian business community and promoted Italian enterprises to take interest in Vietnam.

 

At the exhibition, exhibitors will showcase and introduce technologies of automation and steelmaking, electric equipment, construction technique, technologies for water treatment, environment, medical equipment, interior utensils, food and garment. (Vietnam & World Economy)
