Vietnam Leading Apparel Corp to Sell Shares This Year: Official
The Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex), a leading apparel maker in Vietnam, will sell shares this year as part of plans for this year, according to Vice General Director of Vinatex Le Tien Truong.
However, Truong did not specify exact time and amount of stake.
Currently, Vinatex holds dominating stakes in 17 affiliates and seven affiliates are in process of privatization.
Vinatex ships apparel products to 65 countries and set up partnership ties with more than 400 foreign firms.
The corporation plans to increase output to 455 million to 555 million meter of differed cloth, 100 million knitted products. (Vietnam Economic Times,
