Vietnam's 08 Exports to Spain Fall 36.35 per cent to EUR528.8 Mln
Vietnam reportedly fetched EUR528.8 million from goods shipment to Spain in 2008, a sharp decrease of 36.35 per cent on-year, reported the Spanish government.
Among Vietnam’s export staples, footwear topped the list with EUR136.18 million, followed by coffee, tea and spice with EUR96.23 million, apparel with EUR70.7 million and seafood with EUR62.55 million.
The country also spent EUR70.72 million on importing building materials and machinery, equipment and chemicals from the European country during the year, down 27.55 per cent. (Vietnam Economic Times)
