The Trade Promotion Department under the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) is planning to organize an exports exhibition in Moscow, Russia in September this year, the Investment newspaper reported.

The event will showcase a wide range of export products such as agro-forestry-fisheries products, apparel, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, tourism and trade services.

This will be a good chance for local business to promote the national and their images and boost exports to Russia.

During President Triet’s visit to Russian in October, Vietnamese and Russian leaders have agreed to increase the two-way trade to US$3 billion in 2010 and US$10 billion in 2015.

In 2008, bilateral trade reached US$1.5 billion. (Investment)
