Ministry Approves US$94Mln Bridge in South

The Ministry of Transport has approved the construction of My Loi Bridge worth VND1.6 trillion (some US$94 million) in southern Vietnam.
 
The bridge linking Long An province and Tien Giang province is over Vam Co Lon river, which has a designed length of 2,700 meters.
 
Work on the four-lane bridge will be kicked off late this year and is expected to finish after 30-month construction. Once operational, the bridge will allow ships of up to 10,000 tons to enter the Soai Rap river
 
Capital for the project will be mobilized from G-bonds. (Vietnam Economic Times)
