Samsung Mobile has named Phu Thai Group as its new official distributor in Vietnam in an effort to further penetrate the local market.
“Vietnam which is home to 82.6 million phone subscribers is a very potential market for Samsung,” an official from Samsung Mobile said, adding that his company will pour more investment in the market this year.
Samsung has unveiled a plan to hold a 25 per cent share of the mobile market in Vietnam and Southeast Asia in the future. (New Hanoi)
