Russia Software Group Penetrates Vietnam Market

The Russia-based Softline Corporation on March 11 officially opened its representative office in Hanoi, Vietnam as part of its business development strategy in the country.
 
“Vietnam is a very potential software market which is now home to around 1,000 enterprises operating in the industry with 50,000 workers,” an official from Softline said.
 
The group plans to pour more investments in South Africa and Asia, including Vietnam by 2012, he added.
 
Softline is the largest software supplier in Russia. The group has partners with more than 3,000 software producers worldwide including Microsoft, SAP, IBM, and Oracle.
 
Last year, Softline earned revenues of US$364 million, up 25 per cent over 2007. (New Hanoi)
