Vietnam Q1 Retail Sales, Services Up 21.9 per cent to VND270Tln

Vietnam is forecast to have obtained total retail sales and services revenues of VND270 trillion (US$15.97 billion) in the first quarter of this year, up 21.9 per cent on year, the government's General Statistics Office reported.

 

In March, the figure stands at VND88.46 trillion (US$5.23 billion), said the GSO without giving comparative figures.

 

Individual economic sector made revenues of VND153.25 trillion, up 24.9 per cent on-year, followed by private-owned sector with VND82.26 trillion, up 23.9 per cent, state-owned sector with VND23.92 trillion, up 0.8 per cent and foreign-invested sector with VND8.09 trillion, up 29.7 per cent.
