526 Deals Inked During Vietnam Expo 2009
As many as 526 contracts and cooperation agreements on export, trade and investment were signed during the 19th Vietnam International Trade Fair, or Vietnam Expo 2009 opened in Hanoi from April 8-11.
The event attracted hundreds of domestic and foreign firms to showcase agro-forestry-fisheries products, foodstuff, interior decorations, handicrafts, garments and textiles, footwear, electrical and electronic appliances and machinery at 520 booths.
Nearly 50,000 people from 40 countries and territories had visited the event, which was co-organized by the Trade Promotion Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad). (Pioneer)
