Credit Suisse Bank to Lend US$500 Mln to Vinacomin
Credit Suisse Bank, a leading global financial services company of Switzerland, has announced a loan worth US$500 million for the state-owned Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin).
The bank made the announcement at Vietnam Global Investment Forum that opened April 20 in Hong Kong.
During the gathering, the bank also said it will lend US$600 million to the Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines).
This year, Vinacomin aims for gross revenue of around VND46,798 billion (US$2.77 billion).
The group targets to produce 40 million tons of coal this year, including 20.5 million tons for exports and 19.5 million tons for domestic sales. (News)
