Vietnam-Finland Trade + 40 per cent to US$239.6M in 2008

Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Finland jumped 40 per cent on year to US$239.6 million in 2008, according to a Finnish trade official.
 
Vietnam shipped more than US$134 million to the foreign country, Pietro Karjalainen, a trade counselor of Finland in Vietnam told a launching ceremony of a handbook on exports to Finland held in Ho Chi Minh City.
 
Finland wants to buy foods, apparels, footwear, handicraft, environment-friendly products, and coffee from Vietnam, ambassador to Vietnam, Pekka Hyvönen noted. (Youth)
