Green Biz 2009 to Debut in Vietnam

The exhibition and conference “Green Biz 2009” showcasing Europe’s best green technology will be held in Vietnam for the first time from September 17-18, 2009. The two-day event is co-organized by European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
 
The Green Biz exhibition - Vietnam’s first comprehensive exhibition on all aspects of cleaner infrastructure solutions - promises to be an unprecedented showcase of best European companies and technologies in the field. As such, it will present the latest technologies used in Europe and throughout the region suitable for Vietnam’s development, in addition to innovative solutions already existent in Vietnam.
 
The Green –Biz 2009 is expected to bring numerous of Europe’s biggest players in the green biz sector and smaller specialialised companies. It is expected to attract a high level of public attention and key decision makers from both government and business, as development and transfer of clean technology is key to the global efforts of ensuring a sustainable and eco-friendly environment.
 
Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem, in a recent message, said that the Green Biz 2009 is considered as sound initiative for Vietnam. “The Government of Vietnam welcomes and encourages the exchange of contacts and experiences as well as cooperation in research and development of green technology between Vietnam and key players, including EU partners”, said Mr Khiem.
