Vietnam Named Among Top 10 Most Attractive Software Processing Markets

Vietnam has jumped nine steps from 2007 position to join the top 10 most attractive software processing countries in the world and the fastest emerging market in the Asia, according to the 2009 Global Services Location Index (GSLI) published by AT Kearney, the world leading consulting group.

 

Vietnam’s software processing industry is dynamic, especially IT services, while its processing cost is also low, the AT Kearney said in its report.

 

Japanese enterprises have selected Vietnam as the best software outsourcing destination than any other country.

 

Among seven Asian countries in the list, India still takes the lead, followed by China, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines.

 

Vietnam targets to become a strong IT country after 2010.
