Under the MoU, the group-managed website Alibaba.com, one of the global leader in business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce, will provide consultancy for the VITIC in developing its e-commerce project and help Vietnamese SMEs participate in the global trade.

Vietnamese firms will also have chance to boost goods sales via Alibaba.com’s online market place to buyers around the world.

The Alibaba website has so far had 100,000 members from Vietnam. (Vietnam & World Economy, Liberation Saigon)
