Vietnam Exports to Germany Down 13.3 per cent to US$571.89M in Jan-April
Vietnam reportedly reaped US$571.89 million from exports to Germany in the first four months of this year, an on-year fall of 13.3 per cent, the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Among the country’s exports, apparel took the lead with US$116.55 million, up 5.51 per cent on-year, followed by coffee US$91.776 million, down 23 per cent, footwear US$88.1 million, seafood US$60.45 million, up 7.11 per cent, wood furniture US$35.65 million, and bags, caps and suitcases US$25.34 million.
Trade between Vietnam and Germany reached US$3.2 billion last year, including US$2 billion worth of Vietnamese exports, up 11.7 per cent on-year. (Vinanet)
