Vietnam Ships 15,000 Tons of Tra Pangasius to Russia in H1
Vietnam had exported 15,000 tons of tra pangasius to Russia in the first half, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Management Board for Seafood Export to Russia was quoted.
The increased shipments were reported after Russia resumed imports of tra pangagius from Vietnam since April, the board said.
Currently, prices of the finished tra pangasius to Russia are offered at US$3.1/kilogram, up from US$2.8/kilogram last month.
Vietnam is expected to ship 100,000 tons of tra valued at US$200 million to Russia this year.
Between Jan and Jun, Vietnam exported US$1.7 billion of seafood, down 10.7 per cent on-year, the government’s General Statistics Office said. (Vntrades, Financial Times)
