An Binh Hospital was formed by the Chinese as a private clinic. Through its history of more than 100 years, An Binh Hospital proved itself as a reliable place for patients.
In 1978, the clinic was transformed into a public hospital called Trieu Chau Hospital. Several years after the transformation, An Binh Hospital encountered numerous difficulties in infrastructure, equipment and workforce. Thanks to supports from the city’s authorities in recent years, the equipment has been upgraded to meet disease examination and treatment requirements.
An Binh continuously purchases modern and specialised equipment to serve disease consultation and remedy like colour Doppler ultrasound machine, CT Scanners, bronchoscope, electroencephalographic system, Holter ECG, respiratory gauge and others. With well-qualified experienced, capable, wholehearted doctors and nurses and modern equipment, An Binh Hospital has successfully conducted many modern operations like endoscopic surgery (cholecystectomy, oophorocystectomy, etc.), phaco cataract surgery, artificial blood filter and most recently goitre remedy without surgery.
The hospital also invests in modern equipment from capital sourced from stimulus packages of the government, sends its employees to follow higher training to improve working levels, expand cooperation with other hospitals to provide best health care services for patients. For the time being, An Binh Hospital is focusing on development three core specialties: gastroenterology and haematology department, intensive care department, and stoke department.
