LILAMA College Becomes 8th Int’l Welder Training Centre

LILAMA Technical & Technology College 2 recently held a ceremony to receive the title “The American Welding Society’s 8^th international welding certificate granting and training centre”.

 

The college has spent a long time studying and building international qualification management standards of the American Welding Society (AWS).

 

The ceremony attracted the participation of Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Welfare Nguyen Thi Hang, AWS’s representative Matthews and the college’s director Le Van Hien as well as officials from many agencies.

 

The title proves efforts of the college in particular and Vietnam’s vocational training schools in general in reaching international welding standards. This will be a driving force to encourage LILAMA Technical & Technology College 2 to train qualified welders for local corporations and export.
