CMC Antivirus/CMC Internet Security has reportedly been integrated with CMCxEmu technology - an advanced technology that created a virtual world for viruses to attack.
CMCxEmu (emulator) is a high-tech utility developed by CMC InfoSec and integrated into the engine of CMC Antivirus / CMC Internet Security software (CMC AV / CMC IS).

With this technology, a virtual computer with CPU, RAM memories, API functions of Windows, etc are created inside the CMC AV / CMC IS. Viruses/malwares will “think” this is your PC environment and will attack it. CMC AV / CMC IS will base on behaviours of viruses/malwares to kill. Simply speaking, this technology creates a computer-like environment for viruses to play its games.

“Integration of CMCxEmu into the engine improves the ability of CMC Antivirus/ CMC Internet Security in detecting polymorphic viruses,” said Mr Vu Lam Bang, Director of CMC Research and Development Centre.
