Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will take part in the annual World Economic Forum 2010 in Davos this month at the invitation of WEF’s President Klaus Schwab, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on January 20.

PM Dung will attend four conferences on economic restructuring in the long run, reshaping the global economy, food security and the East Asian community, the MOFA said.

Mr Dung will also work with leaders of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization in Geneva between January 24-31 of 2010 to discuss the Doha negotiation.

The Vietnamese prime minister will meet executives of the world’s leading holding companies, scholars and the global press circles to introduce Vietnam’s development prospects as this year the Southeast Asian country assumes the Asean presidency. (Banking Times)
