Maritime Bank Lends US$25 Mln for Singapore Ascendas - Protrade Tech Park Project

Maritime Bank’s Binh Duong branch on June 28, 2010 signed a US$25 million credit agreement with Ascendas-Protrade Co Ltd in Binh Duong province. Accordingly, the lender will provide credit for Ascendas - Protrade to carry out the first and second construction phases on Singapore Ascendas - Protrade Tech Park (APSTP).

 

The park will be built in an area of 500 hectares in An Tay commune, Ben Cat district, Binh Duong province. Once completed, APSTP will provide infrastructure facilities for businesses operating in such sectors of food processing, beverage, energy, electrical, health care and pharmaceutics.

 

This project plays an important role in the An Tay Industrial and Service Complex to be constructed on an area of 1,350 hectares at an expected investment capital of US$150 million. As preparatory works have been completed, the project is expected to kick off at the end of the year.
