Vietnam Reports State Budget Revenues of VND43.285T in Jul

Vietnam’s state budget revenues were estimated at VND43.285 trillion in July, up VND6.1 trillion from June, according to the Ministry of Finance.
Tax revenues by cement, petroleum, paper and beer producers were almost up 14% last month amid positive economic growth, supported by a series of the government’s measures to curb inflation and stabilize the macro economy.
By end-July, 40 of 63 cities and provinces nationwide had completed 60% of their full-year estimates on tax revenues.
The National Assembly, the country’s top legislative body, has approved a budget deficit of VND119.7 trillion for this year, or 6.2% of the country’s GDP with state budget revenues of VND462.5 trillion and spending of VND582.2 trillion. (Banking Times)
