Realty Projects Licensed, Broken Ground in August

Vietnam Business Forum introduces realty projects which were licensed and broken group in August.
 
Bai Cat Tham-Nha Trang sea eco-tourism area
Van Phong T&M Tourism & Investment Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of Eurowindow Holdings Company, on August 5, 2010 started construction of a project worth VND5.8 trillion (US$297.43 million) to build Bai Cat Tham sea eco-tourism area.
 
The project occupying 295 hectares will comprise of three areas of A, B and C, where will be venues for tourism and entertainment, high-end resort and sea eco-tourism area, and outdoor tourism.
 
The Area A will be Hon Ngang tourism and entertainment services centre with an acreage of 132 hectares, which will comprise sea eco-resort, hill eco-resort, high-end villa area with a total of 240 rooms meeting standards of four-star hotels.
 
The Area B will be a 101-hectare Bai Cat Tham high-end resort and sea eco-tourism area, which will comprise high-rank resorts, hotels and apartments.
 
The Area C will be a 62-hectare Ca Ong mountain outdoor tourism area.
 
Viglacera Tower – Hanoi high-end apartment
 Viglacera Tower – Hanoi high-end apartment bloc is under the project entitled “Viglacera high-end trade, hotel and apartment complex” with acreage of 40,000sq.m at No. 1 Lang-Hoa Lac Road.
 
The bloc comprises of two 40-storey towers with first three storeys are planned for trade and general services, 36 storeys for over 1,000 apartments with acreage of between 87sq.m and 175sq.m each, and the last storey for 23 penhouses with acreage of between 96sq.m and 336sq.m each. Three basements are estimated to house 1,200 cars.
 
Song Da-Hoa Binh new urban area
 Local government of Hoa Binh Province on July 30 approved Song Da Urban Investment Construction and Development JSC (SDU) and Hoang Son Trade, Construction, Energy and Investment Joint Stock Company to carry out studies for a project to build a 400-hectare urban area in Dan Ha and Mong Hoa communes of of Ky Son district.
 
Van Phu-Ha Noi high-end apartment area
PetroVietnam Premier Recreation JSC (PVR) plans to build a 7,023-sq.m Van Phu high-end apartment area in Ha Dong district of Hanoi. The firm intends to invest VND1.454 trillion (US$74.56 million) to build the 39-storey building. PVR is speeding up related procedures to start building the facility by end-September 2010 and plans to complete the construction in a 36-month period.
 
Apartment area for low-incomers in Kien Hung-Hanoi
Construction Joint Stock Company No.21 (V21) or VINACONEX 21 on August 21 started building an apartment area for low-incomers in Kien Hung ward, Hoan Kiem district of Hanoi.
The 19-storey building will comprise of 1,512 apartments with an average acreage of 70sq.m. The project worth VND948.87 billion (US$48.66 million) is expected for completion in the fourth quarter of 2013.
 
Elys Garden in HCMC
The project invested by Song Da Urban Investment Construction and Development JSC (SDU) and Van Thai House Trading, Construction, Services Company Limited has recently started construction of the project in Ho Chi Minh City.
 
Elys Garden will comprise of 12 high-rises belonging to two areas. The first area with six high-rises having between 18 and 28 storeys each will supply 1,212 apartments with acreage of between 50.4sq.m and 193.2sq.m each. Elys Garden will have a parking lot with capacity of receiving 700 cars and 3,400 motorbikes.
 
The 2.04-hectare area is under the 15.7-hectares Sport-Tourism-Culture-Park urban area in the southern part of Ta Quang Buu Road, Ward 4, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City that comprises 9.6-hectare park, 4-hectare trade center and 2.04-hectare apartment area.
 
Nhon Ly-Cat Tien-Binh Dinh sea tourism area
Binh Dinh Economic Zone’s management board on August 13 granted an investment license to Trung Hoi Tourism Company Limited’s project to build 106-hectare Trung Hoi tourism area with a total investment of VND2.27 trillion (US$116.41 million).
 
The project will be carried out in the 2010-2010 period in three phases with the first phase planned for the 2010-2013 period, the second for the 2014-2014 period and the last for the 2018-2020 period.
 
Phong Khe, Phu Khe urban areas in Bac Ninh
Department of Construction of Bac Ninh Province on August 13 approved Dabaco Joint Stock Company’s project to build Phong Khe and Phu Khe urban areas in the locality. The Phong Khe urban area occupying 584,615sq.m will be located in Phong Khe and Khuc Xuyen communes, and Vo Cuong ward of Bac Ninh City.
 
Meanwhile, the Phu Khe urban and craft village service area will be built on a 523,865-sq.m area in Phu Khe commune.
