The 10th Vietnam International Plastics, Packaging, Printing and Foodtech Industry Exhibition – VietnamPlas 2010 will be staged for the 10th time at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center from September 22nd to 25th.
Divided into four subjects—Plastics & Rubber, Pack & Print, FoodTech, and Print & Label, with strong organizer committees include Ministry of Industry & Trade – Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD), Vietnam Plastics Association (VPA), Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA), Chan Chao International Co., Ltd, Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd, Paper Communication Exhibition Service, and Shenzhen Mass Exhibition Co., Ltd.
According to the data published by Vietnam government, in the first two quarters of 2010, GDP increased by 6.16% as against in the same period last year. The Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam also revealed the attracted FDI of first 2 quarters in 2010 reached 8.4 billion USD; among the fields having FDI, manufacturing took 34% of the total registered capital. It is statistically evident that socio-economic situation is recovering in Vietnam, along with the stabilizing macro-economy worldwide.
This year the organizer committees will welcome 225 professional exhibitors from 15 various countries/ regions to attend VietnamPlas 2010. Economic recovery worldwide not only stimulates the domestic needs but also create the export revenue.
