13 Taiwan Firms Survey Vietnam Market

As many as 13 Taiwanese leading companies have started a four-day visit to Vietnam on November 01 to survey the Southeast Asian market and seek investment opportunities.
 
These companies do business in underground infrastructure, airports, power plants, seaports, oil and gas.
 
The guests will have meetings with some Vietnamese groups, including Song Da Holdings Corp, Infrastructure Development and Construction Corp. (Licogi) and Vietnam Machinery Erection Corp. (Lilama) during the visit.
 
Taiwan companies have to date invested $22.78 billion into 2,132 projects in Vietnam, ranking the second among countries and territories making direct investment in the country.
 
Taiwanese firms, including Compal Electronics Inc., the world’s largest contract manufacturer of notebook PCs and Foxconn Group, the world leading electronics provider, set their footnotes in Vietnam.
 
A delegation of Vietnamese firms will make a trip to Taiwan from November 29 to December 4 to survey the Eastern Asian market and seek their partners. (Vietnam Economic Times)
