US$100,000 was Presented to Heartbeat Vietnam

On Nov13, the performance - part of an event to raise money for not-for-profit organization Heartbeat Vietnam was held in Hanoi. This event was sponsored by Katherine Yip-Geicke with the Young Presidents’ Organisation (YPO) International Chapter, whose mission is to alleviate poverty and raise the status of the poor in Vietnam through medical and education programs across the country. 

 

Ms. Yip-Geicke personally donated US$50,000, which was matched by VinaCapital, and a cheque for US$100,000 was presented to Heartbeat Vietnam.

 

Katherine Yip-Geicke is a visionary business leader who has been an investor in Vietnam over many years. With events such as this she aims to spread a message of unity and harmony as well as highlighting the common bond between the people of this region, extending the good that can come in joining together.
