“At SIP we believe that a philosophy of effective delivery and passion sets us apart from other project management companies,” said Mr. Rod Oosthuizen, Chief Operating Officer of SIP. “SIP itself is an acronym for Strength, Integrity and Passion, and our company prides itself on having a team of passionate people, who think on their feet and lead by example.”

“SIP is extremely excited about having the opportunity to work on this ground-breaking project, and our team is looking forward to ensuring that the development is delivered on time, within budget and to the standards that befit the MGM Grand brand that this first phase will ultimately carry.”

With over thirty years of experience in project management, SIP has been involved in over 70 hospitality, casino, golf and hotel projects, notably in Africa and Dubai, and brings this wealth of project management experience to Vietnam.

The team it will deploy has over 70 years of cumulative experience in project management on major developments the world over.

The MGM Grand Ho Tram – scheduled for opening in the first quarter of 2013 – will include a five star hotel, initially 541 rooms expanding to 1,100, a 13,600 square meter entertainment area, retail, restaurants, bars, lounges, shows, conference and meeting areas, a golf course, and other leisure amenities, representing the first large-scale integrated resort development in Vietnam. In its entirety, the Ho Tram Strip represents a $4.2 billion undertaking that covers 164 hectares of a prime beach-front location in Ba Ria Vung Tau.
