Maritime Bank Wins STP Award from Bank of New York
On March 1, Maritime Bank was honourably presented the STP Award by Bank of New York (BNY Mellon).
The New York-based BNY Mellon is a world-leading asset management and securities service entity with a total asset of US$25,000 billion. Mr John R. Hills, Executive Manager of BNY Mellon, and Ms Mina Chung Vu Thanh Uyen, Vice President of BNT Vietnam Financial Services, bestowed the STP Award to Maritime Bank’s Financial Market Director Nguyen Huong Loan.
STP Award is based on Straight-Through Processing, which is an important criterion to measure the quality of automated payments at banks.
Mr John R. Hills said Maritime Bank is a promising bank with bold objectives like network expansion speed, making it one of four largest commercial joint stock banks in Vietnam. With STP Award, the relation between BNY Mellon and Maritime Bank will be elevated.
