Dutch Businesses Seek cooperation opportunities in HCM City
Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, Nguyen Trung Tin, and Deputy Mayor of Rotterdam City, Alexandra van Huffelen, on March 30, signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation on adaptation to climate change within the framework of the delta urban zone linking network.
The second memorandum of understanding on cooperation was signed by the Vietnam Exporters Association in Ho Chi Minh City (VEXA) and the Dutch Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI).
According to this document, one year after the CBI helps the VEXA implement the Export Assistance Package (ECP) programme (about in May 2012), the two sides will jointly evaluate the effectiveness and discuss renewed cooperation. Evaluating criteria include VEXA action plan from the 2011 - 2015 stage, participation of 5 - 10 companies, and completion of the first-year ECP programme, and presence of at least one ECP-associated credit fund where the programme is underway.
