Vianova Systems Vietnam Ltd. – a joint venture enterprise between Vinanova System AS (Norway) and Harmony Software Technology JSC (Vietnam) – was established in August 2002 in Hanoi as a software company within the Civil Engineering field. Vianova Systems Vietnam currently has 12 employees at their offices in Hanoi.
Vianova Systems, with 16 companies in 10 countries in Europe and Asia, has 120 employees dedicated to software development within transportation infrastructure design, construction and maintenance. It develops a suite of transportation infrastructure design solutions under the Novapoint (
www.novapoint.com) brand and carries out customer development within the same field.
The first Vianova company was established in 1988 based on creating a network of specialised companies within transportation infrastructure design and software development. Domain expertise, openness and employee ownership are critical elements in the Vianova Systems company philosophy. The business area is developing transportation infrastructure lifecycle solutions, from design, planning and construction of new infrastructure, to solutions for maintenance and rehabilitation of existing infrastructure. The Vianova Systems network has offices in Norway, Sweden, Finland, UK, France, Belgium, Spain and Estonia. In Thailand and Vietnam, Vianova Systems has two development hubs. In addition, there are distributors and sales partners around the world.
Since its establishment in 2002, Vianova Systems Vietnam has been a significant contributor to Novapoint’s development and participated in a number of customer projects in Norway and internationally.
