INLACO SAIGON: Many Ingredients to Success

Despite fierce competition INLACO SAIGON, with its internal strength, has seen great development. As well as providing training in skills and foreign languages for guest workers and shipping agents, the company has expanded its business into warehouse, depot and container transportation services.

With an aim of sustainable development, the company has expanded not only its traditional business activities but also its range of business. With the head office in Ho Chi Minh City, the company has developed seven branches in other localities nationwide, thus helping the company better satisfy the demand of its customers.

INLACO SAIGON has concentrated on improving its management capacity to meet the demand for growth. Examination and evaluation of its staff are carried out regularly. Accordingly, each month, the company's cadres and staff members review their activities and report them to the company's leaders. Based on reviews, the company has developed a proper system of bonus awards to encourage its staff members to make greater efforts in their work. The company's leaders have always considered human resources as a precious asset. It has therefore focused on providing comprehensive training for its cadres and staff members.

Cap Trong Tuan, director of the company, said that INLACO SAIGON had developed a master plan for its future development. In the coming time the company will continue to increase the quality of its crew members so as to be able to expand into other markets and achieve a target of 450 operational crew members per year. Furthermore, the company will increase its fleet's capacity to gain target transportation revenues of more VND70 billion (US$4.459 million) per year, while continuing to train its staff to ensure a quality service.

At the same time, the company has involved itself in many social activities, such as providing care for families of war invalids and fallen combatants, as well as its cadres and staff members. So far, the company has spent VND2 billion (US$127,388) on these initiatives.

In recognition of its achievements and great efforts, INLACO SAIGON has been presented with titles and awards by the government, ministries and agencies. Since 2003, the company has been presented with the emulation flag by the Prime Minister, the Labour Order, second class, by the State, and the 'For the Community Development' Gold Cup. Many of its cadres and staff members have been presented with medals and certificates of merit. This will serve as an encouragement for the company's staff members to develop it to a new height, making further contributions to the Vietnamese economy.
