Pernam(‘Perfector Vietnam’) is the Dutch-Vietnamese joint venture formed by Dutch advanced water technology company PWN Technologies and Vietnamese water treatment company HOWACO (‘Holland Water Supply Company’). Pernam brings the latest innovative surface water treatment methods of PWN Technologies, the Perfector series, to Vietnam.
With the Perfector series, Pernam offers local water supply companies and other businesses many advantages such as high quality drinking water and a sustainable, reliable and cost effective solution. In comparison with other water treatment plants, the Perfectors have lower investment, operation and maintenance costs, and less chemical and electricity usage. Pernam not only offers a perfect solution in its product, but also in people and service such as training and maintenance. Since the introduction of the Perfector series in Vietnam in 2010, references in Vietnam are available in Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Ben Tre and Quang Nam.
The Perfector series consists of 5 types of water treatment solutions with a variety of capacities from 1.6m3/day to more than 20,000m3/day.
PERFECTOR – R is a water treatment plant for the production of drinking water for communities of 50,000 to 250,000 people, and has overall net production capacities of 5,000m3/day to 20,000m3/day. The client has the option of either building an entirely new treatment plant in greenfield conditions or adding capacity to an existing treatment plant. The Perfector-R produces excellent water quality compared to other designs due to a highly efficient chemical mixing system, flocculator internals that can be customized for actual raw water quality, state of the art sedimentation design and a sustainable and fool-proof filtration system. It can deal with almost all types of surface water, whether from rivers, lakes or canals. Due to an efficient design and a minimum of mechanical parts, the Perfector-R can ensure an easy operation and maintenance process. The design of the Perfector-R is modular based, consisting of an intake on floating pontoons, a process unit, a facility building, reservoirs, and a distribution pumping station. New in this technique is optimization of the system, so as to use less values and minimal chemicals and energy, while the best drinking water quality will be produced. The construction of the Perfector-R is done all locally.
PERFECTOR – P was developed as a spin-off from the Perfector-R. It has all the technical advantages of the Perfector-R, but is an essentially different product. It is a purification installation with a production capacity of 2,400m3/day. The installation is a unit made of steel, so the production time is short. Furthermore, it is easy to transport by truck because it is constructed from components.
PERFECTOR – E is a self contained, easy to use, portable water treatment unit originally designed as an emergency water unit and now also used by densely populated communities such as small villages, large factories, farms and apartment areas for reliable drinking water. Its robust design and plug and play operation makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. The Perfector-E is fed by a mobile generator and has a net capacity of 2m3/hour. Its size is no larger than a phone booth (1.1 x 1.1 x 2.2 m), so very compact. The unit is based on membrane filtration: impurities like bacteria are retained by an automatically backwashed filter. This process is followed by disinfection through ultraviolet light.
PERFECTOR-VLE is designed to transform non-saline surface water sources such as rivers, lakes and streams into good quality drinking water. Membrane filtration eliminates turbidity and all harmful micro-organisms (bacteria, viruses and protozoa). The Perfector-VLE has a net capacity of 1.6m3/hour. The Perfector-VLE is used by Dutch Urban Search and Rescue teams and is also a perfect solution for smaller commercial enterprises and projects.
