Nha Trang Sea Festival 2011 to Open in June

The Sea Festival 2011 themed “Nha Trang - the Sea of Rendezvous” is scheduled to take place from June 11 to 15, 2011 in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa province. This biennial traditional cultural event aims to preserve and promote cultural values of the country in general and in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province in particular. This is an opportunity to advertise economic, cultural, tourism potentials and strengths to attract more investors to Khanh Hoa province.

 

The Sea Festival 2011 will take place at three famous tourism sites along the Tran Phu coastal street (Nha Trang City), Bai Dai Beach (Cam Lam District) and Doc Let Beach (Ninh Hoa Town). The event will be incorporated with 50 cultural, sporting, tourism, arts and education activities with main contents like Cau Ngu (fish worshipping) ceremony and Swallow Nest Festival. Art performances, fashion shows, exhibitions, and gastronomy culture fair will be also opened during the event. The festival will also draw the participation of artists from France, South Korea, Japan, China and other nations.

 

Nha Trang Sea Festival 2011 is another confirmation that Nha Trang City is a city of national, regional and international cultural, sporting, tourism events, conferences and seminars.
